This just happened an hour or so ago - it’s just too sickening. I’m lost for words, saddened, and disgusted. I can’t even imagine how the Londoners would feel - being elated for having won the right to host the Olympics the night before and then wake up in the morning to this.

I am lost for words too!!
Yes I am sadden by this too!! Oh by the way, why is your blog so cool?? Is it different to what I am using??
jjj: as long as there’s hatred, this will continue to happen. UK/US and the West in general really need to address these feelings of hatred that ppl in the Middle East have for them. Only when the root of this hatred is resolved, will this kinda thing subside.
jac: Yeah, was gonna post something light hearted but this whole thing just put me off it. Yup, am using something different to yours. Check out http://www.blogger.com.
The terrorist in that area who intend to do harm need no reason to hate. It is their nature. If they do not attack for one reason, they will for another. I believe it is bread in their upbringing and religious interpretation. The UK/US is trying to do something about it and have for quite some time now. That is why they are in Iraq at the moment.
interblogger: fair point. I also believe it’s the silent moderates that tacitly supports these terrorists that need to be “brought over” to our point of view, so to speak.
Here’s how the Brits seem to be feeling:
Londoners gently reproached me about my concern over the bloodshed, “You Americans get sentimental over silly things. We’re used to getting bombed.” The IRA Troubles had hardened hearts as well as the London infrastructure.
