Thanks CW. Get ready for my eclectic-ness.
- Total volume of music files on my computer: approx. 2.8 GB
I download, I burn, I discard. *shhh* - The Last CD I Bought Was: Ministry of Sound - Maximum Bass
- Song playing right now: Gorrillaz (feat. De La Soul) - Feel Good Inc.
- Ten songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me:
I haven’t listened to some of these songs in a while but nonetheless …- Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorns: stating the obvious beautifully, and it was the song I listened to a lot in the year I moved to Australia. Who knew a hair-metal band can come up with this kinda stuff?
- Jay Chou - the song he did about his dad abusing his mom: not that I went through it but it was very angry and poetic at the same time.
- Kelis - Good Stuff: about a guy missing out because he didn’t want her. Funky beats and highly uplifting after a rejection.
- Faithless - Mass Destruction: a highly appropriate song for our times.
- Ice Cube - We Be Clubbing: as soon as I hear this, I’m in the mood for clubbing.
- Asian Dub Foundation (feat. Sinead O’Connor) - 1000 Mirrors: haunting song about spousal abuse. Hmm, what is it with me and these kinda songs?
- The Sundays - Wild Horses (originally by The Rolling Stones): about pure unrelenting love, something I haven’t yet experienced
- Living Colour - Love Rears Its Ugly Head: about a woman who treats a man so bad and yet he still can’t leave her. Fortunately, I’m more pragmatic than that.
- The Stone Roses - Fool’s Gold: about chasing something that never existed in the first place. Poignant.
- New Order - 60 Miles An Hour: a man that will always be there for his woman. Would be a real mushy song if not for the head-drilling beats.
Bonus …
- Tiesto - Love Comes Again: don’t fret, love will come again. I’m a romantic at heart. Or so I like to think.
- Jin (feat. Wyclef Jean) - Learn Chinese: AzN PrideZ baby!
- First concert ever attended: Elton John 1990@ Perth Ent. Cent. with my parents. Argh!

The sad part is, I don’t know most of these songs…. how embarrassing!!
Love ‘Love Rears Its Ugly Head’ - i just heard it the other day after the longest time, love the vocals.
And Fool’s Gold is such a classic.
cw: you know songs that I don’t know so the embarassment is mutual.
cherryripe: yeah Fool’s Gold - love that bass line hook.
