Non-Chinese readers, I just said I was going to the Cott Hotel tonight - not really in the mood but gotta go get my VIP pass for the summer season. And hopefully there’d be lotsa pretty young things to wake me up.
p.s. Yes this blog post has been an excuse for me to practice my Chinese.

yc: 可能我的思想还不够成熟吧。而且我还很爱玩。以我现在的态度去娶妻子我肯定做不到好的丈夫。Or maybe I haven’t met the right one, I do believe that a person’s attitude can change completely under those circumstances. And no I don’t expect to meet the right one at pubs/clubs - I just like being among friends with drinks and music.
starry: You writer you! But thanks, I never realised there was a difference. Hahah! All these yrs …
sourrain: Je ne peux pas parler français - bleah, I had to use babel.altavista.com for that.
i don’t understand what YC commented..but from moo’s explaination it sounds quite interesting!
sourrain: she said that instead of looking or “kowing” young girls I should be looking for someone to get married to, considering that I’m 30.
I said that maybe perhaps I’m not in the right frame of mind and because I still like pubbing/clubbing too much. And that I probably wouldn’t make a good husband for those reasons.
Practice and practise are both practice in American English, I think. That’s probably why you’ve never noticed the difference.
darn Americans and their simplification of everything. bah. *tromps off in pseudo pissed off librarian with granny glasses mode* lol
Woy, mooi.. you forgot you’re meant to put pinyin in again so that I can learn Chinese. tsk tsk. teruk lah you.
starry: I was gonna to but I was rushing out the door. I thought I’d do the next best thing by doing a translation.
Ok lah, next time!
