I had an awkward encounter on the weekend with a girl who works as a stripper. Well I wasn’t awkward but I think she was, and no I didn’t do anything freaky or sleazy ok!?
The story goes like this: was at The Deen as usual on Saturday night. I was waiting at the bar trying to get a drink and I saw this very pretty girl - tall, brown hair, girl-next-door look. I thought she’d looked familiar but couldn’t really remember. So I turned and looked again and at the same moment we caught each other’s eyes and she seemed to recognised me too. And it hit me - she works at Exotica. We both quickly looked away. She was there with her friends and they all looked like uni students.
I know you have questions already:
- Yes I frequent that place enough for one or more of the strippers to recognise me.
- I can separate the person who dances on stage and the “real” person out with her friends.
- If you still want to judge me about going to a strip club, read this first.
Anyway, this may sound trite but she looked even better with clothes on. And though I cannot claim to understand her awkwardness in bumping into men she may have seen at work, I can guess it is probably not easy. Men can get weird. The least a decent guy can do is pretend not to know her.

i read your earlier blog about your visit to the strip joint…
call me a prude but i’ve never been inside a strip joint even tho i used to fly as a stewardess and had the opportunity to visit many countries… i like to think of myself as very wholesome hahaha… so really i do not understand wats the big deal with the guys…
my english ex-colleague told me she used to visit a male strip joint in england and so funny, one of the stripper was her ex-classmate hahaha… i was very curious and i asked whether the cock was up or down when they are stripping… she said down coz she thinks they are petrified
your encounter with an off duty stripper is very interesting
hiao auntie: men and women are different. We are visual creatures which is why we’d find a female stripping exciting while you view male strippers more as a novelty.
And yes the encounter was interesting - human interactions and body language etc., always fascinate me.
I think people generally look better with clothes on, myself.
miss L: hahah for guys you’d have no arguments from me. Our bodies are just not very aesthetically pleasing naked.
Yes definitely. Semi naked (topless) is a totally different matter. Though those who really make the cut are in the minority… and again, that’s subject to opinion.
miss L: most definitely.
