Think I’m becoming like The Food Pornographer or Shaolintiger with one of his food posts. I’m emulating again! Stop it!
Anyways, I almost impressed Blinkymummy when I told her I was cooking tonight. That was until I said, “The sauce is from a bottle.” CEH!
Tonight’s dish: Chicken, runner beans, carrots, champignon mushrooms cooked in Nando’s “Coconut milk, coriander and lime cooking sauce”.
And the end result …
Oklah. It looks good but I thought the sauce was so-so only. Definitely can’t beat my mom’s. I should really get her recipe for curry paste but her stuff all hand made one leh … where got time!?

You should try the Brahim’s packs of curry. I love their Ayam Madu - usually add roasted chestnuts in there too. Yummers!

I’ve never made curry paste from scratch. Like you, where got time?!

tfp: yeah lah but hand made stuff .. aiii, can’t beat it.
Actually come to think of it, you could probably make a big batch of curry paste in advance and store it in the fridge non? I know my mum used to do it with other raw ingredients like blended garlic and ginger.
starry: yeah yeah that’s what my mom does too. but i share the house with other ppl so fridge space is at a premium.
