Damn I feel like a zombie. Instead of catching up on my sleep Thursday night to go to this, I was chatting with YC and Blinkymummy. And now I’m suffering from a bad headache. Was it worth it? Hell yeah! :)

Anyway so Gatecrasher dropped by our little city last night at The Capitol on Murray St., Perth.

Simon and I got there at 10pm – very early, but by 11pm the place was getting packed.

Sometime during the night we went outside to grab a kebab. A thought hit me: what must it feel like to be Lebanese in this country right now? When I got up to collect my order, I chatted with the counter guy and smiled and wished him a good night. It doesn’t take much effort to spread a little goodwill – now only if everyone does it too.

We walked along Murray St. munching on our kebabs and staring into some nice shops in our half-drunken stupor.

We also saw a girl standing in the middle of the road, getting honked and yelled at by passing drivers. Maybe she’s having an emo episode with her boyfriend. Just a hunch.

After we had our kebabs, we got back into it.

You know it’s a rave when more bottles of water are being sold than alcohol.

The highlights of the night for me were Dumonde (l) and The Organ Donors’ (r) sets.

Here are two 1-min clips of the night – quality ain’t that great and it’s dark but you get an idea of the atmo. :)

Closing thoughts …

YC – it’s not hard for me to enjoy partying at my age because I still love the music. :)

Blinkymummy – prepare for my arrival!
