Woke up late. Was meeting Blinkymummy at 1pm for dimsum at Wah Lok Restaurant at The Carlton Hotel – coincidentally an Australian hotel (naturally).

It was BM, her “good friend” and myself. Another occasion of good food with great conversation and company. It was a good start to my last day in Singapore. *sob sob*

After lunch, I still had some hours to kill so BM decided to take me to Clarke Quay. We were gonna go out to Brewerkz but it was closed in the afternoon. No matter, we walked a bit and ended up at Tapas Bar.

BM and I shared a jug of beer while “good friend” had coffee. He’s a very responsible driver. ;)

After a few beers …

I’m singing in the rain ….

BM dropped me back at my hotel. I napped a little bit before meeting up with Swee and Tai-Sing again for dinner. We went to an Indonesian restaurant at Clarke Quay (again!).

And after dinner, we ended at Brewerkz – talk about fate! I think I was meant to go there all along. We ordered two towers of beer. Woohoo!

Each holds 8 pints of beer. There were 5 of us. You do the math. :)

Needless to say we were tipsy. But what a great way to end my last night in Singapore.

The next morning, I would be waking up at 7am to catch the bus to KL.
