From the link below:
Isaac Hayes, the voice of smooth-talking “Chef” in the blockbuster animated show South Park, has reportedly quit the program saying he can no longer stomach its take on religion.
This is quite ironic because the very first episode made fun of Jesus, Satan and Santa Claus. As rightly pointed out by Matt Stone, one of the creators:
This is 100 per cent having to do with his faith of Scientology … We (he and co-creator Trey Parker) never heard a peep out of Isaac in any way until we did Scientology. He wants a different standard for religions other than his own, and to me, that is where intolerance and bigotry begin.
There’s some truths in that last sentence of his. I wonder though, did they do a show about the Mohammed cartoons furore? I would like to see it. If they have and you can point me to a Bittorrent source, I’d appreciate it.

UPDATE 4:28pm
Found the South Park ep where they showed the figures from major world religions fighting evil “Blaintologists” (YouTube video). Link stumbled upon via the Wiki on the ep, “Super Best Friends“.

I think if South Park did a take on the Prophet Mohammed cartoons furore, all hell just might break loose ;p
They did! But I heard the last guy who owns the link was burn to ash when his house suddenly caught fire… don’t risk it!
michael: actually they’d be known for the outrageous-ness anyway so ppl might not get so worked up?
I’ve heard about this ep that they did called “Super Best Friends” where every major religion was lampooned.
emiriyo: aiyah! I really would have liked to see the Southpark guys’ version of this, even though I still hold on to what I had said earlier about “freedom of speech works both ways“.
I love that episode of “Super Best Friends”, it had Jesus, Buddha, and God-knows what else, it was hilarious! I love South Park, if everyone can just take it lightly and not be so uptight. Hehe
lynne: yeah it was great! Really makes a good point.
