Ever wondered about why do you exist and doing the things that you seem to do all the time? Does déjà vu occur to you a lot?
“Deviation” is a short film showing the question posed not by a human, but by a video-game character in the game “Counter Strike”.
Macintyre: Do you know how many times we’ve been here?
Crow: I don’t know. I’ve kinda lost count.
Macintyre: Why do we do this, this constant dying and killing, over and over again?
Crow: But what else can we do?
Macintyre: I don’t know! Something! Anything!
A video-game character’s existential crisis. Brilliant! Kinda like The Matrix.
