The only time that I can remember being a tad homophobic was when I went to Connections with a bunch of female friends, and I had to line up in a small and cramped men’s toilet with other men who are presumably gay. I got stage fright and snuck into the female toilets instead, because I was told “no one really cares”.
But I’ve digressed.
What I’m trying to say is: I’m secure enough sexually and am ok with homosexuality. I have gay and bisexual friends. I grew up around my mom’s friends in the fashion industry back in KL. Yes the common perception is true - there are a lot of homosexuals in the fashion industry because many of them are creative and artistic. Much like left-handed people.
“I’m not gay! Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
Seinfeld

However I do have a problem when you keep calling me gay even though I’m not. I have no idea why other than that you are doing it because *you* are insecure with your manhood. Or that you want to appear more masculine in front of your woman.
You know what? Fuck you. But not in a gay way. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

well, you can get offended or take it as a compliment - as you’ve already pointed out, most gay men are usually impeccably dressed and very very talented artistically, and my gay friends have proven again and again that the myth rings true.
heh. just don’t bother to take what people say too harshly la. =)

Wow. I’d forgotten all about ‘Connie’s’. I spent a lot of time there in my younger days. But i’m digressing.
Ignore ‘em. As you have pointed out, it’s probably more to do with their self-esteem issues than anything to do with you. -
