The only time that I can remember being a tad homophobic was when I went to Connections with a bunch of female friends, and I had to line up in a small and cramped men’s toilet with other men who are presumably gay. I got stage fright and snuck into the female toilets instead, because I was told “no one really cares”.

But I’ve digressed.

What I’m trying to say is: I’m secure enough sexually and am ok with homosexuality. I have gay and bisexual friends. I grew up around my mom’s friends in the fashion industry back in KL. Yes the common perception is true - there are a lot of homosexuals in the fashion industry because many of them are creative and artistic. Much like left-handed people. ;)

“I’m not gay! Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”

However I do have a problem when you keep calling me gay even though I’m not. I have no idea why other than that you are doing it because *you* are insecure with your manhood. Or that you want to appear more masculine in front of your woman.

You know what? Fuck you. But not in a gay way. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
