Target sold out. K-Mart only had the basic core system. Finally got it at Harvey Norman at $25 more in total than Target.
One Xbox 360 console with bundle of one extra wireless controller and two games: Dead or Alive 4, and Project Gotham Racing 3. Plus Gears of War.
$795 poorer.
Goodbye sleep. Hello sore thumb. Game on.

fwahh… fwahh.. FWAHH!!! is this a new version or something? what’s so special compared to playstation?
I still prefer PS2 though since it has more games production for its console if compared to Xbox.
to kenJJ: yea, PS2 wasn’t bad, I own one. However, lately, the game development has been slowing down, and their games tend to be repetitive. X360 is more powerful, better graphic, and offer an alternative to PS2. Btw, as far as I knew, my friends who’ve got PS2 only using it to play Winning Eleven
Lara: it’s next-gen, alongside Wii and PS3. As far as pricing goes, the Xbox 360 sits between the two.
kenJJ: true but the PS2 has been out for more than 5 years, and the Xbox 360 only one.
Indra: I have no special bias against Sony, it was more the expected price of the PS3 that swayed me toward the Xbox. And I’m not a fan of role-playing (Final Fantasy etc.), so if you exclude that, the games on the Xbox360 and the upcoming PS3 are similar – fighting, racing and shooters.
Oh yeah btw, so far so good! I’m having lotsa fun.

I am planning to buy all three next gen consoles (Wii, PS3, XBOX360), thus gaining the envy of all and cementing my status as undatable videogame geek.
Andrew: well you will only be undateable as far as funds to court women are concerned.
Indra: yeah it is. I’m still getting used to the controls, it’s quite a complex game.
