I’m here to say that my 2-week holiday has been great. A good holiday to me is more about seeing people whom I’ve wanted to see and I’ve done it this trip. And I’ve even got a few days of idle relaxation, even if it’s at home at my aunty’s place. Disengaging one’s brain is highly therapeutic and I highly recommend it.

There’s a last batch of photos taken on New Year’s Day when I went to the pasar malam, or “night markets” in the PJ SS2 area, which will be posted up soon when I get back to faster net speeds in Perth tomorrow. Though if you want to look at them now without the story to go along with the pictures, it’s on my Flickr set for this trip.

Today is my last day in KL. What have I been doing? Nothing. Heh. Though I might go out for drinks tonight with Audrey and Elvin.

This Sunday I will be going to Summadayze at the Supreme Court Gardens. Next Thursday I will be flying to Sydney for a week, for my cousin’s wedding. I know I shouldn’t be complaining, but I think after all that I am suitably holiday-ed out. If you remember, I was in Singapore for a week in November as well. ;)

Before the end of January, I will have also attended the interview for my Australian citizenship.

Phew.

p.s. Thanks to my SE Asian readers who’ve persisted with my blog during this Internet traffic jam. I too know how much of a pain it is to come here.
