You don’t get a lot of petite people in competitive eating - the only obvious one that comes to mind is Sonya Thomas @ “The Black Widow” of the USA. Though, the current world hot-dog eating champion (~54 hot-dogs in 12 minutes) Takeru “The Tsunami” Kobayashi is not that big either.

Now there’s a new competitor on the scene. A 21-year old from Japan who’s learning to be a chef called Natsuko Sone. Her vital statistics?
162cm, 43kg.
In this video, she scarfs down 7kg of curry, rice and noodles from a gigantic bowl in about an hour. And she enjoys it. You don’t even need to understand Japanese to know it. All you skinny women who think you eat too much? Well, you don’t. Not when compared to Natsuko.

Rob: on her Wiki page, it says that she has an abnormally long connection (extra piping if you will) between her stomach and her small intestines. That would explain where all the food goes without making her feel full. You can see on most of these competitors, their abdominal area do expand and look bloated.
Jesus, asian women are TINY!! I can’t believe their stats: 160-165cm and only 43-45 kilos!! THey must be absolute stick figures, and to eat so much! Not many anglo women are that small naturally…all my friends that have lived in or visited Asia said they felt fat and now I realise why. These women are a similar height to me and TEN kilos lighter (and I am by no means a big build)…
