Asian men with white fever – Get over it!
It seems like the subject of Asian men dating Caucasian women is a perennial one. I wrote “Why don’t Aussie girls date Asian men?” last October, and I’m still getting search-engine traffic to it now – almost 6 months later.
Judging by the way the search terms were phrased, I’m betting that a lot of these queries are from Asian men (maybe even bitter ones). Here’s some of them:
- asian guy on white girl
- asian man aussie girl
- caucasian women who want to date asian males
- women who like asian men
- white girls for asians
- white chicks like asian men
There are exceptions of course but the cold hard truth is most women prefer their men to be bigger than them; a lot of Asian men are smaller. That’s it. That also answers the inevitable question about why it’s easier for white men to get with Asian women, but not vice-versa.
Even if size does not matter, there’s still other physical preferences. Add to that, cultural preferences. People of all races still tend to pair up with those who share their cultural background – most times, it’s much easier and more comfortable that way.
I have a thing for blondes so I understand the exotic factor. If you really must have a white woman, I’d suggest that you start out by being friends with a few of them first, instead of looking at them purely as a mystical sexual frontier for you to cross. You’d understand better what makes them tick and that might help you reach the next level.
Even then, there’s no guarantee that you will succeed in your little quest because your personalities might not mesh.
All that effort that goes into you trying to bed a white woman can be better spent making yourself attractive to all kinds of women, don’t you think? The world is a smörgåsbord of colours so why be obsessed with just one of them? Be obsessed with them all! Woohoo!

In the past couple of months I have met two asian guys who WON’T date asian girls. both of them want to date white girls and say all their main girlfriends have been white.
one of these asian guys parents’ divorced when he was really young and his dad re-married a white woman and he was raised by his dad and step-mum who was white. so he’s used to seeing the asian guy/white girl situation and wants it for himself.
but both these guys claim the MAIn reasons for prefering white girls: that they tend to be more outgoing and less inhibited. both these guys are quite outgoing themselves and prefer a girl who is chatty and loud. they say that asian girls are often too shy and less approachable…
anyways, that’s what they say, dont’ shoot hte messenger!
girlstar7: I would have a problem if they are self-haters, and do not like mixing around other Asians. But in this case, it sounds like a preference for a romantic partner so that’s ok by me. They are like Asian women who’d only date white guys exclusively, because they think that Asian guys are shy, weak etc. etc.

HAHA…funny you say that…I have an asian female friend who has never been with an asian guy. And one day me, her and an asian male friend of ours were out to lunch. The asian guy only dates white girls and has a particular preference for blondes.
Anyway, the two of them (both asian) were joking that of course, they will always remain just friends, because neither of them date other asians! It was pretty funny. I told them they will both have beautiful eurasian children…
There aren’t many asian girls in australia, so there only choice are white girls and that’s all they have ever dated.
well don’t know why Aussie gals don’t want to date asian guys. But i myself also don’t want to date white guys. Cos have encounter few experience it’s just damn weird ler. I’m a cambodian born french canadian who has lived in Los Angeles, Paris and now London UK. I’ve grown up among white kids even though our school was culturally diverse, they were my only friends. Now I just feel more comfortable with them since their values are closer to my own. That’s why I’m more attracted to white women. I’ve tried dating asian women…but I felt no physical attraction to them… Also no sex before marriage was an issue although that’s changing as well. I think you need to wait 1 or 2 generations to pass before you see a lot more inter cultural couples. Those asian guys are usually asian american. You will hardly ever see a people who were raised and born in their homeland prefer white girls. The setting on where they were raised affects their style. There maybe some asians who were born in their homeland prefer white girls, but most don’t. You should specify this topic since people will assume “asians” in general. If you don’t…I really don’t care.
I am a cute, slender, feminine blonde/blue young woman who has a “thing” for Japanese men. I know for a fact that many white women would love to be with asian men. Why? Because we know asian men are hard working. They usually have full heads of beautiful black hair. They (usually) are extremely polite and educated.
What prevents some white women from going out with an asian man is the fear of cultural differences. I’ve heard that asian men would love to sleep with a white woman, but not marry them. Usually, white women desire romance with an asian man, and not just sex.
My point is, is that asian men are very much desired by white women. Asian men should just go for us, and white women should go for them! I for one would love to see more asian men/white woman pairings in movies. In the 90s we had the “Vanishing Son” series, and recently, released was the “Never Forever” film. Hopefully, the portrayal of asian men/white women pairings will increase in the media.

I think cultural difference has big factor. I grew up in Korea and moved to the US when I was freshmen in high school. I was lucky to date few white girls during high school year but it didn’t work out as I hoped.
I honestly felt a lot comfortable w/ Asian girls and married Japanese girl. Nowadays, I am wondering who I feel comfortalbe if I raised in the US.

However, I’ve noticed some more obstacles in addition to the ones listed here:
1) Asian men don’t seem to hang out in the same places that white girls, and even white people in general seem to hang out.
2) When Asian men go out, they go out with Asian friends, and don’t talk to any one else.

Okay, let me explain something. I am a white girl, and I love Asian guys to death. I have studied and have a rudimentary knowledge of most Asian cultures (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and I find Asian guys more attractive than white guys. White guys are domineering and pushy. Are all the “I’m a white girl who loves asian guys” comments being made up by asian guys to produce hope?
Im a asian guy, and while I like having my white gf rite now I have always tried to keep and open mind that my companion may or may not be white. And if she is that good news i guess. I’ve also considered the possibility that it may be years if not longer for me to even get a gf or one that is white and semi attractive. But as a side not both asian guys and white males screw up the honest truth about guys which is that we re lonely and we want company. Both races are equally capable of being the bad guy (understatement). For me my gf was treated like crap/ picked the white guys who were scum but tried me cuz I was something different. Yes I am a nice and reasonable person but she also didnt understand that I am a very straight foward, hate playing games, you push my buttons and I smash yours kind of person. What if, what if… an Asian who has the qualities and the look, but was raised almost as a Westerner – Built body, Aussie accent, acts completely non-Asian, 170cm tall, big thing downstairs haha etc.
How would I fair with white girls, cause they keep complaining about the ‘barriers’, which is true, but there are a select few out there which posses the Asian qualities such as, Their intense love and looks while grabbing the good stuff from westerners?

I’m an American born Portuguese girl with dark brown hair and light brown eyes. I sometimes pass as Hispanic, Latina, or Middle Eastern, so I cannot be considered white, I guess.
I just love Asian guys. There’s something about their dark hair, beautiful eyes, and amazing skin that makes me really attracted to them. If I could, I would date an Asian guy in person. My only previous relationships with an Asian guy happened to be long distance and obviously did not work out.
I agree with Missy on all three points, especially that when Asian guys go out, they happen to be around other Asians and do not like to talk to others around him.
Come on Asian guys! Give us a chance. I’ve heard from so many that secretly want to date a girl from another culture and so many girls who want the exact same with them, but it never seems to happen

I know many Asians that do not hang around other Asians and generally go against the Asian stereotype, I being one. I hang around Caucasian and Europeans, just because I feel more ‘at home’ with them, but I do still socialize with Asians, but I don’t connect with them. I also love meeting new people, so there you go! Not so Asian after all
Again, you’re generalizing the Asian population, sometimes Asians do approach whoever, but I have to admit, I’m shy and timid and usually don’t go approaching everyone I find attractive, but I know an Asian friend that does, I play ‘hard to get’ and if the other chick does, I find that really hot! Most of the time, it’s also the Caucasian chicks that don’t approach Asians, they want the male to approach them first.
AMWF relationships are starting to become popular and they’ll become COMMON, if both sides come out of the shadows and admit their crushes on their Asian/Caucasian counterparts.
