I know a lot of you women out there especially in Malaysia and Singapore are addicted to Korean soap operas. The hair, the wacky story lines, the wooden acting and the overly melodramatic scenes. Wait, that’s all soap operas.
Anyway, here’s Bobby Lee from MadTV doing a parody in 4 parts (approx. 3 minutes each) of those Korean dramas that you all can’t seem to get enough of. I especially love the subtitles in broken English and where one word in Korean translates to a whole screen of English. Hilarious! Enjoy! TGIF!

korean drama series always have a brother and sister falling for each other..either they are step siblings or they are unaware they are unrelated.
and also shitloads of crying.
both of which was what Bobby made fun of here. Hahah! Cracked me up.
huh?
Actually, Kudos for having Edge on the show.hehehe.
Any more?
Lupin: Bobby does a lot of other skits and I think you can find a lot of him on YouTube.
I don’t for half a second understand the appeal of soap operas and wish someone might explain it to me.
Malnurtured Snay: it’s an acquired taste.
I hate korean drama series… soppy, unbelievable and boring..much prefer british comedies and american sitcoms..
Rachel: Actually all soap operas are like that. which is why it’s easy to parody.
