Typing of the Dead 2: the game
Hahah this is insane! You know the series of games called “House of the Dead” where you go around shooting up zombies? This is also from Sega but with a twist. In “Typing of the Dead 2″, instead of aiming and shooting with a gun, you type!
As the game progresses, the words get longer and trickier, and you have to type faster and faster. At the moment it’s purely a Japan-only game. If they come up with an English version, I could see it working with the upcoming Xbox 360 keyboard.
Try typing “Mississippi” really fast.

I have played the PC version of TOTD 1 or TOTD 2, forgotten. I think I should still have the CD with me in some place. It’s really nice. I used to play it to de-stress during Uni days.
Yeah it looks like tonnes of fun!
I remember having to do a touch typing course at high school. this would have made it much more enjoyable.
i’d much prefer a Wii-mote style version though.
Rob: oh yeah most definitely! but the tech wasn’t there when we were in school.
Wii-mote version, or gun controller like in the arcades – yeah those are more fun and you get a good workout too.
I think it’s more stress trying to type so fast.
I rather just point and shoot.
