Am going to Paul van Dyk at Metro Perth tonight. Woohoo!
Will my poor excuse of a Melbourne Shuffle present itself? If the place isn’t too crowded (I doubt it ‘cos it’s sold out), and if I’m off my face enough then perhaps it will. Regardless, I will be banging my head the whole night. :rocking:
Heheh. The usual photos and video will be up sometime this weekend. Rave on!

Don’t forget to pick up a blonde hottie, or two, while you’re there.

Papa: I generally go to dance and get into the music. I mingle with the crowd but I don’t pick up. I did make some new friends though. You will see in the pics coming up.
Shane: yeah man, looks like everyone was bewildered by his act. Very unprofessional. I wonder if any of the insiders will chime in on the forums.

Totally agree mate. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to interact with the crowd in which it is the fundamental principles for being a entertainer & dj.
Furthermore, his dj set weren’t that good. It was full of pounding beats throughout the night without creating a sense of climax, suspense or uplifting. In comparison with AVB, his dj set @ white party was an experience that was describable and unforgettable.
That’s a cute little animated graphic!
Shane: that’s right - a simple gesture of pumping an arm at the crowd, heck a smile even, can go a long way!
Yeah his set did not have a lot of build ups but individually the tracks were danceable but definitely can’t compare with Armin in terms of being taken on a journey of dips and highs.
blur ting: hahah. Found it a dance forum.
Hope you had a good time at Paul van Dyk. Just looking at his pic and he’s actually pretty cute

Do you have Stereosonic in Perth? If not, it’s a daytime rave/dance party, kinda like Summadayze. I went and Armand van Helden was playing, he did a really good set. You should see him if ya get the chance!
girlstar7: he didn’t perform to expectations but the night was salvaged by friendly people and the local DJs. Nope - don’t have Stereosonic here but if Armand ever comes here, I’ll be sure to check him out.
