Off to another rave – Future Music Festival Perth 2008
I listen to dance music in my car, in front of the computer, when I’m in the shower and even when I’m on the can. I feel like I’m destined to be one of the older men that you see hanging around clubs and events. All I ask for is that I still have a full head of hair, and without a beer gut. Oh and my hearing hasn’t been shot to pieces yet. Thank you.
Meanwhile, tomorrow’s another rave – Future Music Festival Perth 2008. The line-up’s looking fantastic – Eddie Halliwell, John Digweed, The Chemical Brothers, Roger Sanchez, The Shapeshifters – and it’s gonna be tricky trying to catch them all. Nonetheless, sun-screen? Check. Sunnies? Check. Comfortable jumping shoes? Check. Body of a 33 year old with the mind of a much younger person? Check. Let’s hope those legs will hold out like those on a younger person as well. Yay!

Have fun at Future Music Festival, it is on in Melbs next Sat! Chemical Brothers should be awesome, they are one of my favourite artists, and I bet you’ll enjoy seeing them live. Cant’ wait to hear about it!
Are you going to see Tiesto? Tickets sold out sooo quickly here (first two shows within hours) that I missed out, damnit!
Lmao. This is a big copycat of US Ultra Music Festival.
girlstar7: Tiesto is not coming to Perth. Next year perhaps! And I’m so gonna have fun today. Oh, and happy birthday!
Susie: every big dance events have overlap in style and theme – look at the Cream/Godskitchen/Glastonbury stuff. All that matters is the big names come and the punters have fun.
And Future has been in business since 1993. Ultra started in 1998. Who copied whom?
Gee, I’m envious. I really should escape to Perth…
If you would like to switch to a lower gear for a while, then Perth is the place for you. I’d like to think of it as a city with a country town feel.
