Wow sounds like an amazing story. I won't say mine in on par with that, but the language differences are similar though I think we manage to understand each other quite well. :)

Have you heard of the book ALmost French? It's about an Australian woman who goes to Europe expecting it to be a few months backpacking but falls in love with a Frenchman, moves to France and never comes home! She barely speaks any French and he barely speaks any English but somehow they manage to make it work. ANyway, the book is actually based on a true story and the couple are still together and happily married and living in Paris. Your post reminded me of the book so it CAN actually work!
Best of luck, whatever happens!! :)

Lupin: I don't really know how she feels. I'm not hung up over her but I'm not abandoning the idea yet either.

blur ting: hahah yeah all thanks to them actually. I didn't even entertained the idea myself initially.

nadnut: shhhh! :P

Kitty: yes, I agree. I is lousy picker-upper. I had you all to thank. Hahah!

sourrain: yes yes it's all an open field. Not ruling out anything or anyone. :)

I think you just go for both!

Sometimes not speaking the same language is a good thing. A good friend of mine swears at her husband in japanese whilst he swears back in cantonese...what you don't know can't hurt you rite....:)

Of course this depends on big the language barrier is. If it comes down to sign language then maybe it's not such a good idea....but you can still date first!!

Of course! Love must be mutual and girl B enjoys your company and vice versa, you're already halfway there. Communication - that can be fixed easily as you spend more time together. Plus your friends are egging you on. They must have seen some sparks and think its a good match too. I say go for it!
