Yesterday, I went to McDonalds and had myself a McFeast of a meal. No, not the burger but items from their new (and hopefully permanent!) Value Picks menu.
In the photo, you can see these:
- Fish Filet Snack Wrap – like the burger but with two small pieces of fish patties and in a wrap with lettuce. $2.95
- Deluxe Cheeseburger – like the normal cheeseburger but instead of tomato, onion and pickle, it’s with mayo and lettuce. $1.95
- Apple Pie. $1
- Mini Frozen Coke. $1
All for a grand total of $6.90. The low prices are good but I love being able to have a range of flavours even better, like having dimsum or tapas.
I was rightly chuffed after that.

McDonald’s is such a guilty pleasure, isnt it?! I rarely eat it nowadays; unlike when I was a child/teen, I know just how bad it is for me and I know how easily I’ll put on weight if I eat it regularly now that I am no longer still growing! Plus, I usually can’t handle the grease. But occasionally I do divulge, mainly when I am drunk or hungover. And man, when I do eat it when I’m hungover it is just sooo good!!!
Thanks for the sudden craving!! :p
Gotta love fast food promotions (forgive me, heart and waistline!!). As sad as it may sound, my heart gave a little leap of joy (in hindsight, it may have been a suicide jump) when KFC advertised the return of their All Stars Box.
That’s cheap! They should have such promotions in SG!
Girlstar7: heheh wolfing down the fries when drunk is da best.
Chubby zebra: as long as u recognize it as an occasional treat that’s ok. What I do usually is to work out that much harder on the day that I indulge my junk food crave.
Nadnut: no matter how cheap it still can’t beat a $3.50 plate of chicken rice. But it would b nice yeah. :p
Hahahaa that’s true! but I’ll give that up for a better weather! The weather in SG has been horribly humid! It must be the worst this year!
