All my serious boyfriends have had female friends, some of whom were single at the time, and some of whom weren't. In the majority of circumstances, I didnt mind at all. I had met these women, saw that there was no sexual tension and was perfectly fine with them hanging out. I think i would be the same if it was my husband. Just because he is married and she happens to be single, doesn't mean they can't be friends...there may not even be sexual tension. Plus I hope I would trust my husband enough not to worry about these things. I would only start to worry under particular circumstances: e.g. they are speaking WAY too often, spending way too much time together, or there are signs that she is thinking of him as more than a friend. But if it seemed strictly platonic, I would be perfectly fine with that. My personal belief is that, in MOST cases, you shouldn't have restrictions on who your spouse can/can't see...it's their life, and placing these restrictions only creates more problems and can make them resent you and push them away.
