Was talking to an old friend and ex-colleague of mine about his 6 year old daughter …
Me: She’s very pretty.
Him: *sigh* She’s only in pre-school and she thinks she has boyfriends already.
Me: Hahah! You think you’ve got problems now, wait till she goes through puberty.
Him: You have to say that, didn’t you? Can’t you let me eat my lunch in peace? Now I’m totally stressed out.
Me: Hahah. Sorry man.

Ha ha ha! Your friend needs to come out of his denial and face the inconvenient truth head on, Marcus. I work with kids, and honestly, I think it’s important you start educating them the moment they show insight. For starters, if this was my daughter, I’d teach her NOT to play mind games with boys! In fact, I think I’d beat the CRAP of my daughter if I saw her play mind games with boys!
BM: hahah, yeah as a guy I tend to think so too.
Isabel: hmm good advice. If all fathers of women did that, that would be very wonderful for us single guys.
You’re most welcome, Marcus. See, there are some sensible women out there in the world! Press on, and I’m sure you’ll find the girl who is deserving of you!
All boys at our place, sigh! Just think, I’ll never get to say: “You’re not going out in that…”
Hahah. Or maybe you should count your blessings?
