Graham Clifford Payne, 20 was arrested in Medan for possesing a small packet of methamphetamine when police stopped and searched him on the roads there. When police searched his house, they found used syringes and over 2000 assorted pills. The Sydney Morning Herald says it’s mostly commonly available medicines – probably cold medicines for their pseudo-ephedrine component.
I think we can expect to see more arrests over the coming weeks with Indonesian police ramping up their anti-narcotic crackdown, especially in Bali. Learn ppl – don’t do or carry drugs in South East Asia. The results are definitely NOT worth it.
