As if regular TV ain’t enough

I’m now watching shows that I’ve downloaded from the Net, shows that probably won’t make it to these shores anytime soon. So I guess it’s justified. Between being a TV addict, and a PC addict … it’s a wonder that I even leave the house. 😉

Two shows that I’ve been watching are The I.T. Crowd from the UK and How I Met Your Mother from the USA.

“The I.T. Crowd” is a sitcom about 2 systems admins and their hot lady boss working in the basement of a corporate building. Besides the hot lady boss and the fact that they can never get a date, it’s all pretty accurate. 😛 Watch it and catch a glimpse of what my job is like.

You can watch the eps on Google Video. Or you can torrent one ep from here. Search around and you can probably find more. And don’t forget YouTube.

From CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” site:

… a comedy about Ted (Josh Radnor) and how he fell in love. It all starts when Ted’s best friend, Marshall (Jason Segal), drops the bombshell that he’s going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily (Alyson Hannigan), a kindergarten teacher. Helping him in his quest is Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women.

It is witty and sarcastic. Most excellent.

Yes that Neil Patrick Harris from “Doogie Howser, MD.” And Alyson Hannigan from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” is always cute. I usually download them at You can get torrents of The IT Crowd here too.
