But equally devastating. Cyclone Larry, classed a category 5 with winds of up to 290kmh hit the north of the Queensland coast yesterday at 4am. Extensive infratructure damage but thus far, no deaths.

80% of Australia’s bananas are grown in the areas hit by Cyclone Larry. Exarcebating the problem is that Australia does not import bananas due to biosecurity concerns. Prices are expected to double. I eat it daily for fibre supplement – I’m definitely gonna feel the pinch.
