Wonder Girls’ “Tell Me” – the song and the dance

June 24, 2008 8:11 PM

On the weekend whilst Youtube trawling, I saw this clip of Korean teen pop group Wonder Girls with their song “Tell Me”. The song is incredible catchy (argh, get out of my head!) and the moves are so boppy that they’ve apparently inspired a horde of amateurs to upload videos of themselves doing it.

Then someone went to the trouble of compiling those clips. The Internets. I love it. Because the moves were originally choreographed for young Korean girls, seeing guys doing them is super gay and hilarious.

Rounding up and bringing some balance to this whole thing is Korean liquid popping master Nam Hyun Joon giving us his dance treatment of the song.

blur ting: hahah if only it pays well.

Lupin: yeah thanks for that extra info! I’m not that big a fan so you know. I’m just intrigued by the phenomenon that’s all.

Katie: haha if you are referring to the guys in the clip doing the dance, yes I concur. Hahaha!

Now YK is hooked. After watching the video (for the umpteenth time), he downloaded the song and is now listening to it on the ipod. You’re ‘good’ influence!

herman: yes, they do make them pretty in Korea. Emphasis on the word “make”. 😉

    Lupin: thanks for sharing though!

blur ting: he has?! Hahah! Well I dunno about him, but I got sick of it pretty quick.
